The sound issue is because minecraft can’t change audio devices. Once it changes, you have to reload resources. I recommend getting a mod (dunno if there’s one for fabric :/ ) that lets you do so, they’re really nice.

Why are you making such a large ghast farm? One stack of ghast tears could make 7 shulker boxes of potions. You have loads already

In regards to the sound issue, Minecraft kind of locks itself to the input devices that were selected when the game is started, and it doesnt do well with switching. I have found that you have to restart the entire game to say switch from headphones to earbuds to get sound from one to the other

Have you thought of season 8, for that shopping district? To have it pre-built in a specific theme or style and having each hermit pay for that storefront with diamond. So like with 1.17 around the corner, you could maybe start off with a victorian theme.

Xisuma a far easier way to stop hoppers searching for items above them (and causing lag) is to put a container above them. Compostors do work, and they're probably the easiest.

If you use optifine in the nether it removes the fog, grian talked about it in one of his episodes of hermitcraft.

Hi X, just to be sure put composters above the hoppers so they don't check for items, its easier than minecarts

Don't take a signal from a downwards hopper! It might not trigger the comparator! Just move the input line, so that the fermented spider eye goes along one horizontal hopper and then one vertical hopper. Then you can take the signal from the horizontal hopper. I didn't test this but I reckon it should work. Love the huge brewject by the way ;)

Why use minecarts in the hoppers when you could use a cheaper none stackable item like wooden swords?

The farms are interesting, but I just don't buy the end product. Potions just aren't that useful. Enjoying watching as always, but I'm looking forward to whatever comes next after the potion maker more.

Hey X, just a heads up, the timer built into the brewing stand will reset if you unload and reload the area. I didn't completely dissect your redstone but this seems like it would be a problem with your external hopper clock that would just "pause" when the area unloads. Timers are very hard to incorporate with brewing stands due to this quirk.
