Goid tip for when lava is coming down. Just dig a hole down in the floor to let the lava flow in it, and it won't go anywhere else.

Why would you make a spawner farm when you can make a regular farm in any basalt delta on top of the nether roof?

@ChiefArug I understand but if they did them before, they could do them now. Above bedrock. (Also it’s weird to set the challenge not to go above Bedrock when it is so useful)

@Dylan Gosselin The farms that are above bedrock, (the ghast and piglin ones are tangos) are the ones where it is not possible, or extremely difficult to make below the roof. (difficult meaning lots of spawn proofing) The magma cube farm is easily possible below the roof, and I assume Xisuma just wanted to design a farm around the magma spawner just cause hes never done it before!

@ChiefArug below bedrock level...? That is a shame. But i remember someone had a ghast and gold farm+ bartering next to each other. Xizuma has a portal based ghast farm in a tower shape above the roof and i remember someone had the illmango style gold farm above the roof too. Maybe iskall... im pretty sure a lot of them have farms above the nether roof... Oh and there is pretty much no spawn proofing when doing farms above the nether roof once you get to Y level 200

Because a farm like your talking about requires clearing/spawn proofing a very large area, and thw hermits have said they kind of want to stay below the bedrock with all the new nether stuff.

I’ve had an idea. Hermitcraft sky block mini-series. Just something a few weeks long with all the hermits starting on either the same island or separate islands that are fairly close to one another

I don't like the fact you didn't ask before you just messed with his stuff. Even though his system doesn't work for you, it works for him in some way. Messing with his things without informing him, or more importantly, asking him first just because you find it messy or annoying is kind of rude. Yes, I understand you're all friends and no this isn't a cancellation. Just an observation.

That's the kind of videos I love seeing where hermits just hang out and help one another even if it's just for a little bit. *I know it may be difficult due to everyone schedule and all but I would definitely love to see a as many hermits as possible to help TFC. He has had a rough year and I think it would be awesome to see y'all help him out on his base if he would agree to it.*

How are the Hermits selected for HhH? Maybe Iskall would accept/need help for finishing his tree? It's not only the building, but the resource gathering as well, I suppose. Also that Magma farm.... you sir have some serious guts to just go in on a live spawner in the nether and start building. No totem of undying would have helped me there. :D

Here's an idea for the next hermit help hermit Monday stream. Build ilmango's 2million basalt farm as a community basalt farm. From ilmango's peaceful series. It's episode 42. Again just an idea. But I noticed no one has a good basalt farm on the server and polished basalt is an amazing block to build with.

Great magma spawner farm! I'm not sure X realizes that you can make magma cube farms rather easily without the spawner. I've got one above the nether ceiling on my SMP world. Great results either way.
